NF footstep - Happy Dogs and People

The emergency first aid course for dog owners at NF footstep in Maienfeld offers comprehensive training in first aid for dogs. The course is led by Dr. med. vet. Andrea Meyer, an experienced veterinarian.

Contents: The course provides practical knowledge on topics such as:

• Anatomy of the dog
• Wound care
• First aid for various emergencies, e.g. poisoning, insect bites or traffic accidents
• Applying paw bandages
• Assessment of when a visit to the vet is necessary

The aim is to provide dog owners, trainers and therapists with the necessary knowledge to be able to react correctly in emergency situations. The course is also a valuable refresher for people who are already trained.
