Cocoonvet is an innovative veterinary center located in Via Pontevecchio 68, 40139 Bologna, Italy. It specializes in integrated therapies for dogs and cats and offers a multimodal approach to pain management and palliative care for animals. Opened on July 14, 2022, it is the first center in Emilia-Romagna dedicated exclusively to these specialties.

- Pain management and palliative care:
Cocoonvet takes a tailored approach to relieve chronic pain and improve the quality of life of elderly or sick animals. A combination of medication, physiotherapeutic treatments, nutrition and emotional support is used to meet the different needs of patients. - Acupuncture and electro-acupuncture:
Non-invasive techniques that stimulate the nervous system to relieve pain and promote well-being. Electro-acupuncture uses a low-level electric current to enhance the effects of traditional acupuncture. - Rehabilitation and physiotherapy:
Manual treatments such as massages, passive mobilization, chiropractic and instrumental techniques such as high-frequency pressure waves (OPAF) and ultrasound are offered. These treatments are helpful in post-operative recovery and the treatment of chronic conditions. - Hydrotherapy:
Use of an underwater treadmill to improve the animals’ motor skills and utilize the healing effects of water to reduce inflammation and promote healing. - Phytotherapy and nutrition:
Integration of medicinal plants, mushrooms and essential oils to support the immune system and general health. Individual nutritional advice helps in the treatment of conditions such as dermatitis, digestive disorders and anxiety. - Behavioral support:
Advice on handling unwanted behaviors, responsible adoption and support for animals with physical disabilities. The focus is on animal psychology approaches and positive education methods.
