Rhea Nellen Photography is an award-winning animal photographer from Eastern Switzerland who specializes in dog photography in nature. With her studio in Zuzwil (canton of St. Gallen), she offers photo shoots as well as photo workshops and photo walks throughout German-speaking Switzerland.

Photo shoots in nature and in the studio
Rhea Nellen offers various photo shoot packages, including:
- Nature photography: 1-2 hours, 10 edited photos, from CHF 320
- City shots: 1-2 hours, 10 edited photos, from CHF 320
- Photo studio in Zuzwil: 1 hour, 10 edited photos, from CHF 270
- Mini and collective photo shoots: e.g. for flower or Christmas motifs, from CHF 180
- Fantasy & History: themed shoots in costume, from CHF 430
- Horse photo shoots: Collective photo shoots for stables with graduated price models
Rhea Nellen offers workshops and individual coaching sessions for budding photographers to learn the art of dog photography.
Photo hikes
A special highlight are the photo hikes, where dog owners can hike to picturesque locations with their four-legged friends and have professional photos taken. Examples of this are
- Fälensee: 16 August 2025, 14.5 km, 550 m elevation gain, from CHF 330
- Chäserrugg: Sunrise photography followed by refreshments, July-August 2025
- Seealpsee: September 13, 2025, sunrise photography with breakfast
- Lake Palpuogna: October 11, 2025, Photography at the lake and waterfall
The number of participants on these hikes is limited and registration is via the website or by e-mail.
🏆 Awards
Rhea Nellen was awarded 1st place in the “Portrait” category at the Dog Photography Awards in 2024. Her picture “Ready for take off!” was also included in the top 50 at the SPC Photo Awards Zurich.
