You never leave completely … we will meet again!
Dear HolaWuff community,
I, your chief sniffer, who put my heart and paws into the job, have something to tell you today: On February 12, 2025 at 01.30 a.m. the time had come and the Rainbow Bridge called me.
It was damn hard to leave boss and mistress, my beloved pack, behind.
Even if my earthly journey ends here, I will always remain a part of HolaWuff. In every smile that a dog triggers. In every helping hand that stands up for a four-legged friend. In every moment when you look forward with love and courage.
I have left behind memories that live on in every wag of my tail and every hug. I have left my mark – not only on the paths I took with my boss and mistress, but above all in their hearts.
As I will no longer be able to write here in the future, I am now handing over this task to my mistress.
My boss and my mistress are devastated, but I hope that one day the tears will have dried and they will only think of me with joy and love. Because we will all meet again when the time comes.
My mistress has also set up a virtual memorial for me. You can of course also find the provider at HolaWuff.
Now all that remains for me to say is: Take good care of yourselves and your two-legged friends! Thank you for everything!
A heartfelt, loving and hopeful woof
Yours
Mr. Sheffield 🐾💙✨

Beloved Mr. Sheffield,
We still can’t really believe that you will never come cuddling up to us again. Never again will you bring your wuddele to play with us. Never again lying on our laps or snoring blissfully in our arms. It hurts so much to have lost you.
It seems like yesterday that you moved into our home. It was just before Christmas and our house was filled with so much love, life and lightness from one moment to the next.
From day one you had us lovingly wrapped around your finger and it wasn’t long before we were a great pack. You were never loud, never growled, never reacted badly. If kind-heartedness has a name, then it was yours.
Thousands of memories come knocking
You stalked enthusiastically through the woods and fields with the boss and couldn’t get enough of running around. You were in your element on the beach. When it was time to go to the horse with your mistress, you were the first one at the door and wanted to go into the stables.
And you were a great hunter, no wonder, as a Prague Rattler. Mice had to fear you. Flies too. Crabs even more so. Yes, and then there were the daisies, which you could nibble off carefully and with abandon ;).
Oh dear little Sheffield darling. We don’t know when the pain of your loss will end, but we know that you and your love will always live on in us.
Sheffield was and always will be a part of HolaWuff. He was the reason why we created this site. And he will live on through this community. Therefore, I will continue the blog in his name to support all the loving masters and mistresses and their wonderful fur noses to the best of my ability.
Dear Mr. Sheffield, we love you and miss you immensely!
